We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to help us ensure effective workflow by supporting our team in Verona for our new project for Direct Services .
YOUR CHALLENGES WILL BE: Monitoring and managing daily operations, including freight scheduling, dispatching, and tracking to meet customer requirements and service level agreements.
Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all operational activities.
Addressing and resolving operational issues, including delays, discrepancies, and customer concerns, in a timely and effective manner.
Identifying opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency within the freight operations.
Maintaining effective communication channels with internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure smooth coordination and information flow.
Preparing and analyzing operational reports, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Distributing efficiently and effectively work among team members.
Ensure high levels of employees' performance, motivation, and engagement.
Leading and developing the team through shadowing, coaching and continuous feedback.
Being a role model of Company's Purpose Promise and Values (PPV).
Complying with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Quality standard, Ethical code, and central procedures.
WHO YOU ARE: You have experience in the logistic field with agencies and direct services.
You have experience in managing international shipments.
You are fluent in English.
You are proficient in relevant software and technology used in freight operations.
