You will be involved in a deep analysis of market trends, supplier performance, and cost management to ensure the procurement process aligns with the company's financial and operational goals.
By fostering effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will ensure that the procurement activities contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of AXA DCP's supply chain.
You will support in the development and implementation of procurement strategies that align to the evolving needs of the business, thanks to your understanding of the latest procurement strategies, tools, and processes, as well as your robust financial acumen.
You will also be expected to partner with other departments to ensure that the company is achieving its purchasing objectives, and in line with AXA Group and AXA XL standards to leverage processes and systems in place while creating the most effective processes for AXA DCP to achieve its ambition using the "freedom within boundaries" principle which has been implemented within the Group to allow AXA DCP's acceleration.DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?Establish relationships with the best suppliers and negotiate long-term-value contracts that set out prices, quality standards, cost-reduction targets, delivery timescales, commercial terms and conditions, and the like as may be warranted from time to timeHandle procurement activities across the organization to ensure alignment, establish best sources of supplies and services, conduct performance evaluation of suppliers, manage supplier relationships.Interact with key stakeholders in identifying business needsOrganize regular business reviews with the company's key suppliers, and recommend and escalate to stakeholders performance issues as appropriate, working with key stakeholdersDevelop strategies and processes, finding the most effective solutions, to increase procurement coverage and efficiency through:digital solutionssupplier contract managementoutsourcing solutionsimplementation of governanceDevelop, implement and continuously upgrade policies and procedures applying procurement and purchasing requirements in line with AXA standards.
In addition monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulation and AXA standardsApply and ensure detailed sourcing and category plans to maximize effectiveness and efficiency in line with AXA Group Standards and leveraging AXA XL processes and systems in placeCollaborate with the finance team throughout the procurement cycle to assist with forecasting and budgeting.
Provide updates about procurement related progress and potential delays to the Procurement Lead and COOEnable and ensure transparency of spend and drive for an optimization of efficiency (procedures and cost) in collaboration with stakeholdersPractice and lead by example the use of common, efficient, ethical procurement processes & procedures.You will report to the Procurement Lead, AXA DCP.SHARE your talentWe're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Graduate in supply chain management, economics, finance, operations, engineering or a related areaProven track record of delivering large savings and/or other value across spend Provenleadership, change management and business ethicsWorking knowledge of finance and/or accounting in terms of budgeting, cost management, financial accounting, treasury, risk management, etc.
Analysis mindset and creativity to seek, encourage and find non-traditional approaches to further enhance and embed procurement policies and processes.Good knowledge of Procurement processes and methodologies including Supplier Relationship Management, Business Partnering and Category Management, external trends and current best practice including contract managementBusiness management - particularly legal & contractual aspects of purchasing.
