Operations Manager – Ready Mix Concrete

Mackenzie Stuart is currently looking for an Operations Manager for the Tampa area, for a leading regional Ready Mix Concrete supplier in Florida. For the right candidate, this position would have the progression pathway to General Management
Responsibilities of the role include, but may not be limited to: Full operations management responsibility for 9 facilities producing circa 850,000 cubic yards of Ready Mix per yearExperienced at process implementation & aligning acquired companies to parent organizationsLiaise with area & plant managers to ensure good implementation of operations strategyMaintain a good safety record & develop/ensure good maintenance practicesThis position will report into the VP/GM for the regionTo be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements: 5+ years operations management experience with varying degrees of responsibility5+ years experience in the manufacture & supply of Ready Mix Concrete8-10 direct reports, including area & plant managersMulti-site plant management experience is necessaryMust be a hands-on manager & be willing to have conversations & work with staff at every level of the organizationThis role offers a competitive base salary, with a strong company-performance based bonus structure and has a strong progression pathway.
