Hiflow's Operations department Operations are all actions related to the proper management of our customers' transport orders and the support of our service driver partner who carry out the transport.
Our operations in France are made up of 3 teams according to the scope of action:
Customer Ops: management of quality and operational issues for our BtoB and BtoC customers Transfer Ops: management of all of our transport operations, with drivers and trucks Partner Ops: management of our transport capacity and the quality of our service providers, drivers and truck companies In Italy, we are regrouping the first 3 teams into 1. Nevertheless, the "Project Group" team is very helpful for the development of our subsidiary.
In order to meet our growth and customer needs, our Italian Operations team ensures the daily operational management of transport and its quality in order to guarantee the best possible experience for our customers and our driver partners.
You will work directly with the Italian Country Manager & Project Group team but also with Marketing, Admin & Finance, Product and Tech teams.
The Operations officer will be responsible for ensuring that our assignments are carried out correctly, that our Italian drivers are well sourced and onboarded and that our operations are reliable for our clients in Italy.
Guarantee the sourcing of our Italian drivers: Publish ads on job boards in Italy to attract new drivers Select and onboard these new drivers so that they perfectly carry out the transport missions of our customers. Carry out meetings in the field in order to train them to our customers' standards and to allow them to know Hiflow better Guarantee the good realization of the transports: When a transport is given by a customer, several drivers are proposed, it is necessary to know how to choose the right one according to several criteria. Ensure that there is always a driver on each transport given by our customers Support the driver during his mission if he has any questions and manage some emergencies during the transport. Guarantee the quality of our operations: Monitor the quality of strategic customer accounts: mission compliance rate, criticality level of customer quality perception, know satisfaction, etc. Participate jointly with the sales manager on quality projects: participate with the sales manager in some client meetings, conduct quality reviews for each client, and support the launch of new customer projects. Be able to monitor the quality level of customer accounts to implement corrective actions. This job is for you if: You already have a strong experience (>5 years) in business or project development and in team management. You are native/fluent in Italian and already worked for the Italian market. You have great interpersonal skills: you are great at interacting with people, you know how to convince your audience and motivate your team. You have an entrepreneurial mindset: you enjoy building things from scratch and you have a very hands-on approach: you like to plan and do! You are very comfortable speaking in English, to interact with the rest of the Hiflow team. Bonus points if: You have previous experience working in the following sectors: logistics, mobility, transport… This job isn't for you if: You are only interested in team management or strategic planning and do not wish to have operational tasks. You are not comfortable in an ever-changing environment. You prefer stable environments with clear and established processes.
