Position Summary The Operations & Logistics Analyst (Internship) will report to the Operations & Logistics Manager and will be responsible for supervising logistic processes (B2B, B2C/DTC), performing data analysis, interpretation & executions.
This position will advise & act as a control tower to implement the best decision/solution related to Operations and Logistics area, with scope on maximizing sales, quality of deliverables & cost-savings activities.
This role is an important part of Samsung S&OP/SCM process, to allow stakeholders to make efficient/timely decisions by providing business visibility to each different management level.
Role And Responsibilities Be part of the important omnichannel S&OP and process, providing insightful analysis on the forecast, sell-in/sell-out, own inventory / channel inventory for Samsung products.
Develop dashboards and conduct analysis highlighting Performances and KPIs for Inventory, Sales, Channel stocks, Sell-out, Service Quality & Reverse Logistics.
Anticipate potential risks, and escalate to the relevant stakeholders to manage in a timely manner.
Coordinate & support collaboration between 3PL/4PL and Commercial, SCM, Customer Service, to manage logistics issues.
Participate in new SCM projects (B2B, Retail, Online E-commerce) in collaboration with customers at local and pan-EU level.
Monitor & collect KPIs for Transport & Warehouse activities and lead continuous improvement plans in the following areas: Warehouse / Inventory related: Capacity monitoring / simulation, Obsolete inventory & aging, etc.
Transportation related: Transportation lead-time, Outstanding delivery, D2C delivery, IOD/POD control, Inbound tracking, L/T, etc.
Reverse logistics related: Return (DtC and B2B), lead-time, etc.
Cost related: Logistics cost monitoring, abnormal cost mapping, etc.
Skills And Qualifications [Education] Master / Bachelor in SCM, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or in Data Science.
[Qualification/Skills] Profound analytical skills and attention/ability to work with details; Microsoft Excel is essential (Macro knowledge is a plus).
Strong communication & stakeholder management skills.
Problem-solving skills.
Good business acumen.
Language: Fluent English & Italian.
Proactiveness and willingness to learn and grow in a multi-dynamic and cultural environment.
[Others] Travel required: less than 5%.
Experience with Dashboard Development is a strong plus (QlikSense).
