Position Overview The Operations and Logistics hub Manager is a key role responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient running of the entire supply chain, from procurement to customer delivery.
This role requires a blend of strategic planning, operational leadership, and analytical skills to ensure products get to the right place at the right time and within budget.
The site is based at Velezzo Bellini and is operated by a 3PL.
Key Responsibilities The Operations and Logistics Manager will be the point of contact to Clarins subsidiaries (Italy and Switzerland) and will be responsible for all the activities performed by the 3PL to Claris.
Reporting directly to Claris Hub Director, the role involves: Warehouse Operations Logistics: Responsible and accountable for the management and optimization of all logistics flow and activities within the 3PL Italian Hub, including transportation, warehousing, and kitting activities.
Performance Management: Ongoing performance management of the local 3PLs, ensuring the right levels of performance and adherence to agreed contractual SLA's and code of ethics.
Collaboration: Create a mindset with the 3PL that emphasizes the importance of Clarins activities and delivers the best operations to the subsidiary's customers, enhancing the customer experience for B2C and B2B channels.
Reporting: Improve and maintain tactical and strategic reporting to handle daily, weekly, and monthly follow-ups, supporting countries in data collection for planning and reporting.
Continuous Improvement: Act as the process owner for continuous improvement within the contractual statement with the 3PL.
Coordination: Work closely with the Central ADV, especially the HUB flow planner, to ensure the stock levels shipped into Velezzo are at the right level.
Supply Chain Support: Collaborate closely with subsidiaries to become the operations calendar timekeeper and support the local supply chain with active needs forecasts.
Leadership: Motivate and inspire internal stakeholders and 3PL partners, demonstrating leadership and an entrepreneurial spirit aligned with Clarins values and continuous improvement.
Warehouse Audit: Responsible for warehouse audits, investigating lost and found items, damages, and product inversion in the logistic flow.
Local IT Support: Support local Central IT to ensure smooth interfaces, connections, and alignment while considering process improvements.
