Operations and Logistics Hub Manager The Operations and Logistics hub Manager is a key role responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient running of the entire supply chain, from procurement to customer delivery. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, operational leadership, and analytical skills to ensure products get to the right place at the right time and within budget. The site is based at Velezzo Bellini and is operated by a 3PL.
The Operations and Logistics Manager will be the point of contact to Clarins subsidiaries (Italy and Switzerland) and responsible for all the activities performed by the 3PL to Claris, reporting directly to the Claris Hub Director.
Main Internal Relations: Supply Chain Subsidiaries Central ADV PMD Skill Center Global and Region Directors Finance Warehouse Operations & Logistics Responsibilities: Responsible and accountable for the management and optimization of all logistics flow and activities within the 3PL Italian Hub, including transportation, warehousing, and kitting activities. Ongoing performance management of the local 3PL's, ensuring the right levels of performance and adherence to agreed contractual SLA's / code of ethics. Create a mindset with the 3PL that emphasizes the importance of Clarins activities and deliver the best operations to the subsidiary's customers, ensuring a positive customer experience for B2C & B2B channels. Improve and maintain tactical and strategical reporting to handle daily, weekly, and monthly follow-ups, supporting countries in data collection for planning and reporting. Continuous improvement process owner within the contractual statement with 3PL. Work closely with the Central ADV, especially the HUB flow planner, to ensure that stock levels shipped into Velezzo are at the right level. Collaborate closely with Subsidiaries to act as the operations calendar timekeeper and support the local supply chain with active needs forecasting. Motivate and inspire internal stakeholders and 3PL partners, demonstrating leadership and entrepreneurial spirit in line with Clarins values and continuous improvement. Warehouse audit responsibility, investigating lost and found, damages, and product inversion in the logistic flow. Support Central IT locally to smooth interface connections and alignment, taking into consideration process improvements.
