Role overview and context
Reporting directly to the Operational Procurement Manager, the Operational Purchasing Assistant will have in charge of Vendor Management qualifications and Purchase orders issue to meet Business needs.
Main task and responsibilities:
Vendor Management- Supervise and guarantee a proper running of PRY-Source Vendor Management tool acting as focal point for all functions and vendors involved carrying out the main tasks as Management and constant monitoring of suppliers qualification process, Launch of supplier performance evaluations and Codification of new suppliers;Procurement- Management and planning of the following types of purchase orders- Direct (materials of any product class);
- Indirect (maintenance, contracts, works, transport, rentals, catering,human resources, IT);Scouting of new suppliers;- Drafting of "Bidder List" with suppliers to be involved in the tender;- Creation of tender in the electronic portal PRY-Source (E-bidding);- Examination of technical offers and relative alignment in collaboration with internal client;- Examination of economic and commercial offers;- Alignment of contractual terms and general terms and conditions;- Prices Negotiation and selection of winner vendor(s);- Economic tabulation and price consistency;- Creation and issue of purchase order in SAP;- Evaluation of financial rating using tools as D&B and Orbis-Bureau Van Dijk;- Spent Analysis through SAP;- Update Procurement Plan (on a daily basis) and Frame Agreements and Blanket Order Reports (on a monthly basis);
**Requirements**:
- Degree, preferably in Economics and Business;- English fluent, written and spoken;Personal skills:
- Self-motivated and determined to resolve issues efficiently to a close;- Ability to think things through logically and then act upon them;- Good communication and interpersonal skills internally and externally;- Professional attitude towards working and a belief in the 'Team' ethic;- Confident telephone manner;- Organisational skills;- Self-discipline;- Ability to deal with problems as and when they arise and to priorities;We will expect a professional attitude to work and a willingness to learn and take initiative.
IT skills:
- Main tools as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint etc ;- Excellent Skill for Excel;
