Gorgonzola hosts the Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain.
The activity of the NAS domain includes avionics, navigation and radar systems for civil air traffic, and technologies supporting the activities of civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers, and technicians of several airlines, air traffic control agencies, and Air Force around the world.
Italy is the Group's Competence center for the design, production, and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.
JOB OBJECTIVE Perform sales and order administration: quotations, pricing, order management, draft invoicing, materialization, and loading specifications into ERP.
Understand and qualify internal and external customer requests.
Dispatch requests within Thales to appropriate teams.
Manage purchase/contract requests, ensuring key milestones are met on time.
Support NAS Transformation Plan, focusing on PM and BID initiatives, mainly scheduling and workload.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Book and verify customer orders against ERP data and Thales quotes/contracts.
Update the sales plan with FIN and PM teams, ensuring the sales operations plan (SOP) aligns with PM, FIN, and sales team expectations in ERP.
Update customer data in ERP (delivery address, bank details, contracts, etc.).
Monitor order status and Request/Promise dates.
Maintain customer database, registries, and sales contract archives accurately.
Manage and track receivables, overdue items, and Good Receipts for non-codified items with PMs and Finance to ensure prompt supplier payment.
Prepare draft invoices per Italian/EU/World fiscal rules and support delivery/export documents, adhering to ECO regulations, especially for military equipment.
Support financial contract clauses (e.g., Letter of Credit) and issue/follow up on customer invoices, including complaint management.
Collaborate with Finance to resolve invoice and cash-in management, including report generation.
Ensure inquiries are resolved and escalate when necessary.
Support Sales/After Sales and Controlling Teams with ad-hoc analysis and improvement processes.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS What we are looking for: Junior/Mid position with 2-4 years of experience maximum and eager to grow in a multinational environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
Knowledge of ERP systems like OCM, SAP, etc.
High School Certificate (Diploma Perito Commerciale - Ragioneria); Bachelor's Degree (3 years) in Economics or equivalent is a plus.
Proficiency in English and Italian is mandatory; a third language is a plus.
