DescriptionOperational HRBP BU FunctionsHitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner supporting the global Functions in our Grid Integration Business Unit (BU).
The HRBP will support global HR Projects in addition.As a core member of the global Grid Integration HR team, the HR Business Partner is accountable for the overall HR contribution and value-add to the global business functions, translating business goals into HR priorities and ensuring effective implementation in partnership with our HR centres of expertise (COEs) and HR operations.The HRBP will partner with the Head of HRBP Grid Integration and the different BU Function leaders to support and drive the transformation and growth, implementing HR focus areas on talent development, ensuring relevant people capabilities and organizational effectiveness.Your responsibilities:HR Solutions: Partner with managers and employees in the respective functions to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through HR practices, processes, or policies.
Counsel managers and employees on the most effective solutions to resolve issues.
Acts as consultant, sparring partner, coach, and facilitator to leaders.HR Process Implementation: Oversee implementation of HR processes for direct reports and global teams to the BU Functions, ensuring compliance with Group policy and guidelines.
Implement and ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies, and ensure strong partnership with location and Hub HRBP.Organizational Design Developments: Support the implementation of the operating model and optimize organization structures and principles in line with global rules and standards, including the Hitachi Energy Job Structure and the Grid Integration Job Catalogue.Skill Development and Learning: Support on development actions in line with Grid Integration's Career Journey to drive function excellence in partnership with HUB and other Function HRBPs.
Implement learning and development activities to build and improve technical, functional, and leadership competence in collaboration with the HR Talent team.Leadership Culture Talent Management: Identify and build talent bench strength together with the leaders in the organization.
Utilize Our Leadership Pillars and Diversity360 to help drive culture and behavior connecting our People to Potential.Additional global HR Projects: On global BU level supporting GI's journey of growth.Required Qualifications:10 years of Human Resource generalist experience, including experience in a global, multi-national matrix environment ideally with earlier touch points on Functions.Strong track record and passion in operationalizing transformation, organizational and talent development.Proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues and strong problem-solving ability.Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.Data Literacy and leading by influence.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a "can do attitude."Fluent in English.
