The resource will report directly to the Medical Lead Autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes.
Main responsibilities To identify the key stakeholders and decision makers in each geography including emerging group of thought leaders as DOL and Rising Stars. To aggregate multiple data points and perform tracking activities analysis through CRM. To develop enduring peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, creating constructive, cross-functional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders aiming to generate customer insights and leverage business opportunities. To develop and maintain the highest scientific and medical expertise within the assigned therapeutic area. To be responsible for implementing local KOL Engagement Plan by mixing channels that deliver an omnichannel engagement experience to customers in a personalized and value-added way. Execute medical plans for scientific engagement, evidence generation, insight generation, and partnerships for the assigned brands in conjunction with in-country functions. Execute MSL priorities within the Therapeutic Area. Execute training and development program in line with global strategy and local needs. To build up scientific network with the most relevant KOLs and scientific societies at regional and national level. To attend appropriate national and international meetings and congresses. To cooperate with Market Access and Public Affair to implement regional strategy. In cooperation with the Medical Information Service, to provide response to Medical Information enquires, utilizing global medical information resources and in line with local regulatory requirements. About you Experience Previous and solid experience in the role of MSL or roles in Medical Affairs is a plus. Scientific knowledge in the Immunology (experience in the field of type 1 diabetes is an advantage). Essential requirements Deep knowledge of multichannel scientific engagement. Data driven approach. High degree of knowledge of relevant healthcare systems, evolving medical landscape, regulatory and payer environment, public health and industry trends to accurately identify key issues and develop strategies and plans. New digital engagement technologies as part of your toolkit. Education Scientific Degree; PhD will be considered an advantage. Languages Fluency in spoken and written business English and Italian.
