**_Responsibilities will include_**:
- All survey and positioning activities on the vessel
- Working with the Project Support Manager to plan and supervise mobilisation activity
- Carrying out safety inductions and toolbox talks, issuing non-conformance, near miss, incident, and accident reports when necessary, and reporting of project KPIs
- Ensuring all policies, standards and work scopes are understood and followed by the survey crew in line with project scope and client expectations
- Conducting project risk assessments and project briefings on vessels
- Ensuring that technical reports are issued in line with the project reporting timeframes
- Compilation and client approval of the vessel daily progress reports
- Ensuring work is carried out in line with NextGeo and the clients' safety, quality and technical specifications and expectations (including quality non-conformances)
- Planning and monitoring the performance of survey crew members.
Holding key personnel accountable for delivering daily work scopes/plans
- Working with the client representative, conducting daily meetings, review, plan, communicate and coordinate clear objectives and plans
- Ensuring lessons learned by the offshore team during projects are on passed to the Project Manager
- Promoting and acting as an ambassador for NextGeo
- Acting as a mentor and undertaking training and periodic reviewing of the offshore team members' performance
**_When applying, please demonstrate_**:
- 5-7 years' experience in a similar role
- Current offshore medical and survival certificates
- Good command of the English language
- Experience of ISM
- Ideally IOSH or equivalent qualification
- Management or leadership qualification
The position is a salaried role based on 180 offshore days per year.
