Offshore Geotechnical Surveys Project Manager

RINA is currently recruiting for an Offshore Geotechnical Surveys Project Manager to join its office in Rozzano, Genoa, or Rome, Italy within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division. Mission The ideal candidate will be involved in offshore geotechnical investigations and will work on multiple projects. Key Accountabilities Projects planning and management (initial planning of activities and team, preparation of execution plan, work schedule, sharing with team and customer, progress monitoring and reporting) Managing of Clients and Subcontractors/Partners (meetings, reporting, MOM preparation, follow up of action list) Preparation of technical-commercial proposals related to geotechnical offshore surveys Interface with RINA geotechnical laboratory To distribute activities internally and to the subcontractors, to support and monitor the activities carried out To handle client needs on a daily basis and meet contractual deadlines Main interfaces: RINA Surveys Director, Surveys Business Development Manager, Surveys Engineering team internally; customers, partners, contractors, and suppliers externally #LI-AC2 Education Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Geology Qualifications Up to 5 years experience in Geotechnical surveys Experience to manage medium to large size projects Experience in Geotechnical Tender preparation (technical and commercial) Good knowledge of English language Knowledge of Windows package Competencies MANAGE EMOTIONS - Recognise one's and other's emotions and express and regulate one's reactions BUILD NETWORK - Forge trust relationships, across departments, and outside the organization MAKE EFFECTIVE DECISIONS - Structure activities according to priorities, actions, resources, and constraint THINK FORWARD - Capitalise on experiences and translate them into action plans for the future CLIENT INTIMACY - Embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfaction With over 5,600 employees and 200 offices in 70 countries worldwide, RINA is a multinational player that provides certification, marine classification, product testing, site supervision and vendor inspection, training, and engineering consultancy services across a wide range of sectors.
