And that's where you come in.AccountabilitiesReview and setting up obsolescence management processes in accordance with European standard EN62402Define the necessary tools and process improvements and supervise their implementationDefine, develop and maintain effective obsolescence plan and strategic life cycle management of both internally designed components and externally designed components/systemsDevelop obsolescence management plans and monitor and report component obsolescence statusWith the procurement and the supply chain, develop obsolescence management capabilities in suppliers through obsolescence management plans, periodic monitoring and verification auditsReview incoming obsolescence notices from external sources and identify necessary actionsPrepare periodic reports on project obsolescence, including performance indicatorsIdentify obsolete material and potential replacement parts by coordinating engineering, industrial and supply chain actionsPerform impact and risk assessments in the use of alternative components in customer systemsEnsure project documentation is updated after the adoption of alternative componentsCreate FFF and obsolescence declarations to inform customers and confirm the suitability of alternative componentsPerform forecasts and estimates of warehouse stock consumption in the absence of any alternativeRequired Skills/ KnowledgePioneering SpirtIntegrityTwo to five years' experience as a designer Signal/Power Electronic, Electrical or Mechanica in railway system engineeringexperience and knowledge of the integrated systems that comprise a trains an metro system;Ability to develop a working knowledge of technical products, processes, applications.knowledge and experience in application of the railway Technical-Logistic support documentation, associated with any technical system, either rolling stock and/or a rail vehicleKnowledge and ability to review design documentation from sub-suppliers;techniques and ways to handle the relationship with a supplier in an integrated supply chain approach;Excellent communication skillsNegotiation SkillsExperience in modern Lean and Agile OrganizationDesired Skills/ KnowledgeTeam-working attitudeFlexibilityResult orientationAnalytic approachReadiness to travel occasionallyExperience in modern Lean and Agile Organizationknowledge of Obsolescence process and of Standard EN EN62402, is a preferential title.Education / QualificationsElectrical, Electronic, Mechanical EngineeringLanguagesEnglish ProficiencyWe thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those under consideration will be contacted.
