Offer Description Combining physics-based and data-driven techniques, hybrid solutions for design optimization and real-time adaptive control of integrated technology solutions can be developed. Within the research group for "Multiscale modeling and Engineering Applications", funded by the newly instituted "National Center for High Performance Computing (HPC), Big Data e Quantum Computing", this cross-disciplinary project will develop advanced methods for the creation of lightweight, multi-domain and multiscale Digital Twins to be translated from high and medium fidelity Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) simulations to ROM-compatible architectures for real-time and edge computing. Exploiting HPC results to reduce model complexity will be tackled through mesh morphing and dedicated, artificial intelligence-based knowledge distillation techniques. Multi-physics Digital Twins will also be developed for the dynamic control and diagnosis of complex systems.
