NON-INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGIST (relocation to Vietnam)
Our client, a renowned clinic with several locations in Vietnam, is seeking an experienced Non-Interventional Cardiologist to be based in the Ho Chi Minh City location.
The Non-Interventional Cardiologist is responsible for providing expert medical care to patients with cardiovascular diseases.
This role involves diagnosing and treating heart conditions through non-invasive methods, managing patient care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing to identify cardiovascular conditions.
- Diagnose cardiovascular diseases and develop treatment plans involving lifestyle modifications, medications, and other non-invasive therapies.
- Interpret results from non-invasive diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (EKG), read mill stress test, cardiac ultrasound, and cardiac Doppler ultrasound.
- Monitor and manage patients with chronic heart conditions, ensuring ongoing care and adjustment of treatment plans as needed.
- Provide consultations and second opinions for patients referred by other physicians, offering expert advice on managing cardiovascular conditions.
- Educate patients and their families about heart disease prevention, treatment options, and lifestyle changes to improve cardiovascular health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, and follow-up care.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology through continuous education, attending conferences, and participating in research activities.
- Ensure all medical practices comply with established guidelines, protocols, and regulations, maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital setting
- Currently working in a hospital setting
- A medical license in good standing
- Patient, and customer service skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in English
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ensure all patients and relatives are treated with respect and dignity at all times
- Work efficiently in stressful situations and able to respond to challenging situations
