Who we are looking for Purpose Be responsible for maximizing the business potential of future Chiesi products by providing customer centric commercial input to deliver the brand strategy for internal R&D development projects and identify new external opportunities within Respiratory portfolio.
Main Responsibilities
Act as Commercial Leader in R&D core teams for the assigned products, from discovery throughout phase II (early development), to provide commercial inputs and guidance for the definition of main project documents such as Target Disease Profile, Target Product Profile, Product Development Plan and Project Card
Develop full business case and deliver global brand strategy for projects in Chiesi pipeline based on input of internal and external stakeholders
Identify short
- and long-term gaps and needs within Respiratory portfolio and collaborate with R&D, Global Strategy & Corporate Development and Affiliates to identify and assess new opportunities, with responsibility for the commercial evaluation
Present and discuss with Chiesi Top Management business cases and global marketing strategies for both R&D projects and external opportunities
Participate and contribute to global cross-functional teams and taskforces, providing commercial input and guidance
Experience Required
At least 3 years of pharmaceutical commercial experience.
Education
Degree in Economic or Scientific disciplines (PhD or Master are considered a plus)
Languages
Fluent in English (both oral and written)
Technical Skills
Good knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical market scenario
Knowledge of market analysis and forecasting
Knowledge of strategic marketing/brand planning
Knowledge of pricing & reimbursement principles, basic knowledge of the main Healthcare systems
Understanding of human biology, pathophysiology and pharmacology
Understanding of team-based drug development process and pharmaceutical R&D
Knowledge of competitive intelligence principles
