Job Description Company Overview:
An International Corporation is expanding its Network Security team and is seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join their team in Rome.
Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and associated network protocols.Proactively implement virus detection systems to ensure robust network security.Identify and resolve security issues, including hardware malfunctions.Conduct security analyses and report findings to relevant stakeholders.Maintain compliance with Information System Management Systems (ISMS) policies and regulatory systems.Investigate and respond to security breach alerts.Develop and enhance security authentication protocols.Apply in-depth knowledge of network security principles to protect organizational assets.Manage and configure firewalls across various vendor products, such as Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, and Palo Alto.Work with Content Delivery Systems, including F5 LTM and F5 GTM.Implement content filtering, email gateway security, and data security measures.Utilize multifactor authentication tools, such as CyberArk.Manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF) using Imperva and F5 ASM.Configure and troubleshoot IPSEC/SSL VPNs with CheckPoint, ASA, and F5.Apply shell scripting or development skills to enhance security operations.Utilize troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Fiddler, and HTTPWatch.Required Qualifications: Extensive experience with Palo Alto, Checkpoint Firewall, and Imperva.Strong knowledge of F5 firewall configuration and management.Proficiency with Cisco switches, routers, and NSX.Experience with Firewall UTM, Sandboxing, and Application Control in CheckPoint.Solid understanding of routing and switching protocols, including OSPF and BGP.Certifications: Cisco CCIE Security, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization stack (installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance), including VMware, vSAN, and NSX-T.
