Stefanini EMEA is hiring a Network Operations Administrator in Turin, Italy. In this role, you will work closely with our customer's team as part of the ICT Infrastructure Tower across EMEA.
This role is on an 11-month fixed-term contract. Job responsibilities: Monitoring and Alerting:Continuous monitoring of infrastructure components.Alerting mechanisms to notify relevant personnel or teams in case of detected issues.Processes for handling incidents including logging, categorization, prioritization, investigation, and resolution.SLA defined based on impact and urgency. Defined escalation process to ensure timely resolution of critical issues.Change Management:Managing changes to the infrastructure in a controlled and systematic manner to minimize disruption and risk.Defined change approval processes, documentation requirements, and rollback procedures.Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning:Monitoring resource utilization trends and forecasting future capacity requirements.Identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing optimizations to improve systems performance and efficiency.Documentation and Reporting:Regular reports in key performance indicators (KPI's), incidents, changes, and other relevant metrics.Managing relationship with third-party vendors and services providers to ensure the timely delivery of services and support.Evaluating vendor performance and support in negotiating contracts to optimize service levels and costs.Job requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.Experience within the Network Operations area: LAN-WAN, Cabling, PBX, Firewalls & VPN, NAC, Wireline, SASE.Experience with monitoring tools: Proficiency in tools like Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or Datadog for real-time infrastructure monitoring.Understanding of technical network requirements and procedures to be able to translate them in front of vendors.Ability to create clear and concise documentation for processes, incident reports, and system changes.Experience in evaluating third-party vendors, assessing their service delivery, and negotiating contracts.What's next: It's best to apply today, because job postings can be taken down and we wouldn't want you to miss this opportunity.
