Your day at NTT DATA
You can be part of a very competent and collaborative NTT team giving your contribution to an IT important and strategic customer's journey.
Based in Milan, NTT team will collaborate with customer's IT team locally and internationally focusing on Network and Network Security infrastructure.
You will work on IT environment mainly focused on Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet, F5, Vmware Velocloud, Riverbed technologies.
Being a member of this project, you will have the opportunity, at the same time, to join NTT, leader in Network Managed Services, and to work with a multinational company leader in Eye wear and Eye care industry, continuing to evolve your competencies and skills.What you'll be doing
As aNetwork Managed Service Engineer L2, you will collaborate withcustomer's Network Operations teamandNetwork Projects teamto guarantee a seamlessly network services to the entire IT Network customer environment (DCs, Cloud, shops, offices, branches).
Your main responsibilities will be:
Pick the issue/tickets assigned by customer L1 Network Operations team;
Perform operational tasks to resolve assigned incidents/request in a timely manner;
Capture all required and relevant information for immediate resolution;
Escalate all tickets to seek the right focus and resolution;
Communicate with other teams for extending support;
Update tickets with resolution tasks performed;
Execute changes with clear identification of risks and mitigations;
Execute approved maintenance activities;
Monitoring client infrastructure;
Analyze incidents and requests for quality and recommend improvements;
Produce trend analysis tickets reports.
IT educational background;
At least 3 years of experience in Network Operations environment with a medium complex infrastructure;
Cisco Certification (CCNA). It is a plus to have other certifications from main vendors (Check Point/Palo Alto, Fortinet, F5, Vmware);
Ability to communicate and work across different cultures and social groups;
Able to maintain a positive outlook at work;
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances;
Able to work in a virtual and hybrid team;
Good problem solving approach and analytical thinking;
Customer oriented;
Good knowledge of Italian and English (French is a plus);
Available to travel aboard when required by customer;
Available to be part of on-duty scheduling plan.
