To support our growing business, activities and needs, we are recruiting a talented Network Engineer to join our team located in Turin, Italy. The Network Engineer will actively contribute to maintain, secure, and monitor the existing network architecture as well as to the design of the future network and its implementation.
Some of the responsibilities will include:
Implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and, in some cases designing communication networks within an organization or between organizationsEnsuring the integrity and high availability of our network infrastructureEstablishing networking environment by defining, implementing, documenting, and enforcing system standardsSecuring network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring accessSupporting and administering firewall environments in line with IT security policySupporting on-site engineersTroubleshooting and fault finding if issues ariseFulfilling ad hoc tasks and projects as required by the CompanyContributing to the definition and implementation of project best practices and quality processesLiaising with external provider when network management is outsourced Qualifications And Experience Required skills and experience:
Fundamental understanding of and hands-on experience with network technologies including but not limited to firewalls, content filters, routing/switching, VLANs, and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wirelessProven hands-on experience and expertise with Palo Alto firewalls or assimilated productsAnd/or proven hands-on experience and expertise with F5 Load Balancers or assimilated productsThorough knowledge and hands-on experience with fundamental networking protocols including TCP, STP, ARP, Ethernet, OSPF, VPN, BGP, SD-WAN, etcExperience supporting or testing LANs, VLANs, WLANs, VPNs, NAT devices, &/or DHCP serversExperience supporting and administering Load balancers, Proxy, reverse Proxy, Firewalls, Routers, SwitchesProven experience in incident management, service request management and troubleshooting using root cause analysis (RCA) techniquesAbility to multitask and work under pressureOutstanding English languages written and verbal communication skills.Outstanding customer service skills Desirable skills and experience:
Experience working in a NOC environmentExperience of using ticketing systems and use of monitoring and management toolsExperience installing and troubleshooting WiFi networksWorking knowledge of public DNS zones and Global Servers Load Balancing (Traffic Manager)Cloud hands-on experience (Azure)Certification in Networking (e.g. BSc Networking, CCNA, CCNP, Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist, Juniper JNCIA)
