We are looking for a Network Engineer for our Aerospace team.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements for rail systems and projects.
Derive detailed technical requirements from high-level project objectives and stakeholder needs.
Develop comprehensive documentation, including UML, technical specifications, system descriptions, design documents and operating procedures.
Ensure that all requirements and documentation comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Create and maintain requirements traceability matrices (RTMs) to track the fulfillment of requirements throughout the project life cycle.
Support the integration of telecommunication subsystems, with a focus on PIS (Passenger Information Systems), ECP (Emergency Call Point System) and Radio.
Support the identification, management and fulfillment of contractual requirements and prepare subsystem requirements specifications.
Support the preparation of the conceptual design, detailed design and installation design for the above subsystems based on the requirements analysis.
Prepare functional and performance test specifications.
Key requirements: Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science; Knowledge of installation, configuration and maintenance of Linux environments.
Experience in creating and managing Docker images and containers.
Experience in designing, configuring and deploying Asterisk-based VoIP solutions.
Experience in managing and administering containerised environments using Portainer.
Experience in installing and configuring Graylog in various environments.
Background in the railway industry.
At least 2 years' experience in the role.
