Netops Specialist Senior

This position is contingent upon funding.Due to length of time it takes to obtain a Visa to work in Italy, candidate must currently live in Italy to be considered for position.The Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) is the largest IT services program for the Navy.
Under SMIT, the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN), including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport.
In order to continually modernize these networks, the Navy and Marine Corps will award project Task Orders onto the SMIT contract.The Senior Network Operations Specialist, located in Naples, Italy, will be responsible for performing enterprise network operations and engineering support for a broad range of programs.
This will include planning, designing, and evaluating various components of the USMC network on the Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) program.Other responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Coordinate infrastructure repairs including directing remote activities to ensure continuity for service delivery.Review root cause analysis documentation to address performance management and incident correlation issues.Work within the DevSecOps methodology to plan and support implementation of new technologies.Prepare recommendations for resolutions to NetOps challenges based on monitoring results, tools analysis, and/or forensics.Assist the Cyber Team in employing approved defense-in-depth principles and practices (e.G., defense-in-multiple places, layered defenses, and security robustness).
Assist with the collection of intrusion artifacts (e.G., source code, malware, and trojans) and use discovered data to enable mitigation of potential computer network defense (CND) incidents within the enterprise.Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree: experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.10 Years of Experience.US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.Must possess both IAT III and CCNP certifications.Original Posting Date: 2024-08-07Pay Range: Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00#J-18808-Ljbffr
