We bring together small groups of like-minded millennials and send them on life-changing experiences to 300+ destinations all over the globe.We're on a mission to design and deliver experiences worth living and sharing, through rewriting the rules of the travel industry.ABOUT THE ROLEJOB TITLE: Negotiation ManagerLOCATION: Milan - our HQ (Hybrid)TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent SALARY RANGE: Between 44k - 65k depending on seniorityPosition Overview:We're seeking an experienced Negotiation Manager to join our team and lead our efforts in negotiating and securing optimal contracts with Destination Management Companies (DMCs) and local service providers globally.
This role is crucial in ensuring we deliver high-quality, cost-effective travel experiences while maintaining strong relationships with our partners worldwide.The Negotiation Manager will also play a vital role in supporting our tour operator team by defining and implementing best negotiating strategies.
These strategies will be tailored based on destination performance metrics, current market trends in tourist services, and ongoing cost developments in the travel industry.
This strategic input will be essential in maintaining our competitive edge and ensuring our offerings remain attractive and viable in a dynamic market.The ideal candidate will combine sharp business acumen with a deep understanding of the global travel landscape, enabling them to navigate complex negotiations and drive value for both our company and our customers.What you'll do: Lead negotiations with DMCs and local service providers worldwide to ensure best rates within the market for our package servicesManage and nurture relationships with key partners across various destinationsDevelop and implement negotiation strategies based on destination performance and market trendsAnalyze and optimize contract terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of servicesEnsure all contracts comply with local regulations and company standardsBe responsible for delivering top quality itineraries and implementing improvements to ensure customer experience is paramount and WeRoad is a provider of world leading experiencesBe a key part of our crisis management team, and support our emergency processWhat we're looking for: 5+ years of experience in contract management, within the travel industry is a definite plusOutstanding negotiation and communication skillsProven track record in negotiating complex contracts with international partnersStrong understanding of the millennial travel market and current industry trendsExcellent analytical skills, particularly in financial modeling and contract analysisAn excellent relationship builder, and someone who will relish the opportunity to build strong relationships for WeRoad with external partnersHave experience in a fast-paced, dynamic startup/scaleup environment, and thrive under pressureFluency in English, additional languages are a plusCommercially minded, analytical, competent at handling data sets, and can work autonomously to solve problemsPassion for creating exceptional experiences and willingness to travel internationally as neededYou will love working at WeRoad if:You are ambitious, want to build and be part of something huge, growing faster than you thought possibleYou love travel and want to join a young, smart, and fun team of people who love it, tooYou prefer adventure instead of daily routine and love working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentYou are an entrepreneur at heart and a self-starter and aren't afraid to take on a lot of responsibility, right from the startYou welcome feedback and see mistakes as stepping stones to successWhat we can offer:A free WeRoad trip every year to the destination of your choice.
