We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our Sales Department.The mission of the Key Account Manager is, in line with the defined local and global sales strategy, to develop and implement illy's sales strategy among the key customers of the Italian opco.What will you do as a Key Account Manager:Proactively generate business leads among the top operators in the defined channel and follow the end-to-end acquisition process, involving (if needed) the channel director in the most relevant negotiations.
Keep the leads list updated and shared with the international team.Create and maintain solid relationships with key customers of the company's assigned Italian channel.Grow the company's revenue by ensuring that key clients are satisfied with the services provided and identifying new business opportunities for key clients.Develop and sustain solid relationships with key clients that bring in the most income for the company.Address and resolve key clients' complaints.Act as the primary point of contact between key customers and internal business teams.Communicate and work with the corporate sales, marketing, and logistics departments to ensure that key customer needs are met.Compile account progress reports, goals, and forecasts for account teams and stakeholders.Develop a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements and prepare customized solutions.Negotiate contracts with key clients and adhere to deadlines set for achieving each client's goals.Your Requirements:University degree in Sales or Marketing-related field.Proven and strong Brand, Commercial, and Trade marketing experience.Minimum 5 years Sales and Key Account experience in beverage, CPG, or FMCG industries.In-depth knowledge of the dynamics of the Horeca channel.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with partners and disseminate company culture.illycaffè, as a B-Corp, is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace generating positive effects for the environment, for the community, and for people.
