National Key Account Manager Job Purpose/Overview Responsible for driving Mars Wrigley sales strategy.
He/she represents Mars in front of the assigned regional/National Grocery customers, interacting especially with buyers and customers category managers.
Responsibilities Executing Yearly Agreement of Buying Alliance Negotiating second level agreements with local customers about Assortment and Prom Plan Delivering P&L targets (NSV/TE/MAC) for specific customers The candidate is responsible for the MW portfolio (ambient, ice cream, gums & confections, Bekind), driving relevant assortment reviews and promo plans in order to drive mutual growth.
He/she is responsible for improving the top line and the bottom line of the assigned customers.
Key Responsibilities As a Regional/National Key Account Manager, he or she: Creates growth strategies for the future combining category vision and retailer priorities.
Defines, recommends and implements a plan to improve sales and profitability of his customers (plan in volume / NSV / investments).
Defines and implements plan on range, distribution and activity/promotional planning in line with national activity plan and within budgetary limits.
Leads throughout the year the follow-up and implementation of the agreements.
Communicates with all relevant internal customers (Sales Reps, supply, financial planning, Demand, accounting) on retailers results & strategy.
Manages the executions in-store of the perfect store in line with Mars strategy & respecting the tailored approach per retailer.
Reviews & validates periodically YE volumes with volume planning and quarterly sales budgets with financial planning.
Secures the trade terms investments foreseen for his accounts in line with the BR.
Identifies risks and opportunities within his customer portfolio.
Builds up and maintains effective business relationships with all relevant people and departments of the customer to ensure Mars' category leadership and overall customer satisfaction.
Drives synergies with other Mars' National Account Managers managing the same customers.
95% of time is dedicated to negotiation and order taking; 5% of time is dedicated to field visits with sales reps to execute perfect store and category project deployment.
Job Specifications/Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Business or related field Fluent in Italian & English 2 years of previous relevant sales experience (especially in other FMCG companies) Valid driving license Proficiency in using MS Office and especially Excel & PowerPoint Orientation to achieve results Business acumen combined with an entrepreneurial approach; ability to identify and act upon business opportunities Excellent communication and relationship skills Location : Veneto/Triveneto Employment Type : Permanent Contract Seniority Level : Medium Experience A significant experience that will allow you to: Work on world-renowned brands such as Snickers, M&M's, Maltesers, Pedigree, Ben's Original, etc.
