MRI Technologist - Nights (7 on / 7 off)
Location: New Hampshire$7,500 sign-on/retention bonus.The night shift receives a 20% shift differential.Relocation assistance.Short-term housing is available. Subsidy may be available to those who qualify.Our client for the following positions is an academic health system that reaches throughout New Hampshire and Vermont, an area renowned for its four beautiful seasons, scenic mountains, lakes and seashore, vibrant villages and cities, and low cost of living. The MRI Technologists work in an environment that challenges them with a fast-paced and wide variety of advanced imaging exams including Breast Imaging, Cardiac Imaging, Functional Brain Imaging, Multi-Parametric Prostate Imaging, and many different MRA studies.
Responsibilities:Reviews medical record for patient history and pertinent information. Reviews requisition with physician. Administers contrast material by means of existing IV line or by performing veno puncture and placing an IV line. Recognizes and responds to hypersensitivity or allergic reaction. Evaluates images and send to PACS.Scans and reviews data on disk. Performs multi-plane reconstructions. Performs archive function. Selects & photographs pertinent data and forward to physician.Reviews studies for overall quality.Performs calibration check on equipment. Cleans and performs minor maintenance procedures. Logs problems and usage. Maintains wall units and ambu cord. Orders and maintains supplies.Performs other duties as required or assigned.Qualifications:Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology or MRI program.Registered with the ARRT.Experienced MRI Technologists as well as new Radiologic Technologist graduate (training will be provided) are both encouraged to apply.Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support.To learn more about New Hampshire, please review these websites:
