Molecular Account Executive

Primary FunctionMolecular Account Executive is responsible for managing and expanding molecular activities for assigned customers in the defined country territory.
The role includes acting as an advisor/consultant to customers.
The Account Manager is responsible for retention and value expansion with assigned Abbott existing but also new possible accounts.Major ResponsibilitiesNew business acquisitionRenewals of expiring contracts or new tenders issued by existing customers, as well as price negotiations ensuring customers have the right pricesEstablish value propositions and build business casesPost-sale involvement with customersDevelop broad relationships with key molecular lab stakeholders including the decision-making units, clinicians, and purchasing departmentsServe customer requests and forward them to the respective Service department on technical and applicational questionsBecome an advisor/consultant to customers on lab productivity, use, and/or designWork actively in the CRM system, keeping the customer data up to date, reporting activities and market dataBe the single point of contact that responds to the customer promptlyEducationBachelor or Master degree or equivalentBackgroundExperience from IVD laboratory diagnostics businessExperience from sales preferable but not mandatory if having strong experience from the molecular diagnostic fieldExperience from molecular laboratory field mandatoryStrong experience maintaining and developing customer relationshipsNative in local language/English & other languages advantageous #J-18808-Ljbffr
