Since the Metal Technician sector is very broadly diversified, there are different focal points and job requirements.

IHRE AUFGABEN Creating machine components according to technical drawings and specifications
Calibrating machine tools for precise metalworking operations
Set up and operate various machine tools to produce metal components
Performing quality control testing to ensure the consistency of the component produced
Maintain and repair quantities of machine tools when necessary
IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN Completed vocational training as a metal technician
First professional experience in machining technology
German language skills at B1 level
Ability to work together: teamwork (e.g. during assembly work)
Logical-analytical thinking: detecting errors during repair work
Mathematical and computational skills: calculating workpiece dimensions and designs, calculating parameters for machine programming
Physical stamina: lifting heavy workpieces, stresses such as dirt, machine noise, etc.
Spatial imagination: producing workpieces according to workpiece drawings, working according to assembly plans
Ability to react: operate, control and monitor machines and systems, intervene quickly in the event of machine malfunctions
Vision: Inspection work (workpieces, weld seams, etc.)
Independence: Advise on operational quality management
Technical understanding: Maintenance and repair work on machines and systems, reading work drawings
Skin sensitivity: working with solvents, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, etc.
IHRE VORTEILE An attractive monthly salary (depending on qualification and experience)from at least € 2.007 net (14 times a year), plus allowances
