As a Mergers and Acquisitions Manager with a leading Renewable Energy Developer based in Milan, you will be responsible for driving the company's growth through strategic mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in M&A within the renewable energy sector.
Responsibilities: Develop and refine the company's M&A strategy within the renewable energy sector, identifying key growth opportunities Proactively identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities in the renewable energy sector, staying abreast of industry trends.
Lead and oversee due diligence processes for potential transactions, working closely with cross-functional teams.
Develop and review complex financial models to assess the financial feasibility of potential transactions, including valuation analysis, synergies, and financial impact.
Lead negotiation processes with potential partners, target companies, and other stakeholders to secure favourable terms and conditions for the company.
Manage the end-to-end execution of mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, ensuring adherence to timelines, regulatory requirements, and internal processes.
Identify and assess risks associated with potential transactions and develop mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests.
Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's overall growth strategy, aligning M&A activities with corporate objectives.
Lastly, conduct market research and industry analysis to identify potential acquisition targets, joint venture opportunities, or investment prospects Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
MBA or equivalent is preferred.
4 + years of experience in renewable energy M&A, project development, or investment.
In-depth understanding of the renewable energy market, including project development, financing structures, and regulatory considerations.
Strong financial acumen and proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex transactions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
