GV-Milan HQ Country: Italy City: Milano, piazza Luigi Einaudi 4 Contract Type: Regular Department: Global Central Planning Experience Required: more than 5 Years Mode: Hybrid Your Opportunity: As Merchandising Planning Manager, you will be responsible for analysing and forecasting product demand and revenue streams, developing and owning strategies and financial plans. You must be strong in understanding our core demographic, while forming strong relationships with buying to own the Open-to-Buy (OTB) process. You will lead, direct, and set guidelines with key members of finance, retail merchandising, analytics and marketing to deliver profitable growth. You will participate in the development and execution of Merchandising plans, including sales, planning, forecasting, product buys, sell thru and promotion planning. Your Contribution: Own sales targets and OTB calculation, providing clear analysis and reporting to leadership; In charge of monitoring performance and total inventory level, which requires a strong internal partnership with the regions to ensure achievement of sales and sell-thru targets; Work closely with WW Replenishment department to define sales projections/stock needs by SKU and region, identifying opportunities for reorders and mitigating out of stock risks; Work closely with Retail Merchandising team during the buying campaign to ensure alignment between sales plan and collection potential: stock need by category, SKU target to define master order, monitoring orders against OTB by category/market, other ad hoc analysis; Support projects on planning tools and planning process improvement. Your Skills: 5 years of experience in Planning departments; Advanced Excel skills; Excellent analytical skills and strong aptitude with numbers; Strong oral and written communication skills; Ability to manage workload and time effectively; Flexibility and ability to shift priorities as needed; Advanced level of English.
