Overview: Vendor Merchandisers drive sales and execution of strategic merchandising initiatives within their store.
They deliver impactful merchandising standards by executing company merchandise standards.
They deliver the customer experience for their designated vendor.
They identify what is working, what isn't, and how to address slow-selling areas.
Essential Functions: Prioritize the customer experience for their designated vendor.
Drive sales through product placement, merchandising new deliveries, executing corporate zonograms, and serving as a locational expert.
Communicate specific customer needs and shopping patterns to the vendor community.
Execute key merchandising initiatives for the brands they represent.
Track and place incoming shipments, put new goods out on the floor, manage inventory flow.
Ensure sales floor is properly signed for sales and markdowns.
Leverage vendor relationships and product knowledge to share product knowledge with customers to drive brand/vendor sales.
Provide bi-weekly vendor comments to outline wins and opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications: Education/Experience: High School degree or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year previous retail experience a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to engage with customers and find appropriate service solutions.
Mathematical Skills: Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, and calculating percentages.
Reasoning Ability: Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team and must have excellent time management skills.
Ability to delegate.
Essential Physical Requirements: This position involves constant moving and standing.
Involves standing for at least two consecutive hours.
Involves lifting at least 30 lbs.
May occasionally involve reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
May involve reaching above eye level.
Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Must be comfortable with the use of computers, mobile technology, and frequent use of RF equipment.
Work Hours: Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays, based on department and store/company needs.
