The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-based scientific and clinical expert who strategically supports the medical objectives of Blueprint Medicines' development programs.
As an MSL, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to improve and extend the lives of patients through precision therapy.
You will be responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and a network of healthcare professionals, engaging in peer-to-peer conversations and providing scientific and clinical expertise.
You will be accountable to understand the external healthcare environment and gaps related to the disease, identify and communicate key actionable insights and fulfill stakeholder information needs in alignment with the overall strategy.
As the subject-matter expert, you will also support the understanding of key elements of the disease across all different functions within the organization while maintaining full compliance with all relevant international and local requirements.
The ideal candidate is expected to be able to navigate a fast-paced environment leveraging the building of strong cross-functional relationships and contributing to execution of strategic priorities.

What will you do?
Be the Blueprint Medicines' ambassador in the territory.
Identify, develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, academic institutions, and healthcare professionals in relevant areas of focus.
Engage in meaningful, peer-to-peer exchanges with the hematology, allergy, pathology and rare disease community.
Serve as a scientific expert and resource, providing accurate support to your internal and external stakeholders and timely information about Blueprint Medicines' clinical data, ongoing research and products.
Understand nuances of the country landscape (diagnosis, treatment, CI) and identify valuable business opportunities.
Provide internal stakeholders with feedback and actionable insights from interactions and discussions with HCPs.
Assist with company-sponsored clinical trials and facilitation of investigator-initiated trials (ISTs) or research collaborations.
Strategically plan, lead and execute regional advisory boards.
Deliver medical/scientific presentations and trainings to internal external stakeholders.
Build a trustful and collaborative working relationship with cross-functional colleagues.
Focus on delivering results and demonstrate ownership and resiliency in key medical projects.

Adhere to all relevant compliance and regulatory guidelines, ensuring all activities are conducted ethically and within legal boundaries.
What minimum qualifications do we require?
Advanced Clinical/Science degree or professional credentials required (PhD, MD, PharmD, MSc) 2-3+ years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry in a similar role.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment, prioritize tasks, organize your responsibilities.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Willingness to travel extensively to engage with KOLs and attend scientific conferences.
Strong analytical skills, especially regarding understanding and interpreting scientific and clinical research and literature, are essential.
Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English.

Immunology/allergy and/or oncology/hematology experience preferred.
