located in Benevento is seeking for immediate start a Mechanical System Engineer (m/f)In particular he/she is in charge of the following activities:Mechanical System Engineer responsible for Space Infrastructure design, development and validationMechanical AIT Infrastructure coordinationTechnical review with the CustomerTechnical Proposal preparation in EnglishAvailability to support the installation and commissioning phase in Italy or in other European CountriesWriting technical documentationManage the technical aspects with the customer concerning mechanical aspectsQualificationsMaster Degree (MSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or comparable qualificationsAt least 3 years relevant professional working experience in the space industryGood experience in mechanical design, assembly/integration and testingConsolidated knowledge of the methodologies and processes within the Space Systems Engineering and Lifecycle Design Development of a SatelliteGood hands-on knowledge of CAD tools (preferred NX) and Mechanical simulation toolsResult orientation, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills, leadership skills, stress resistance, time managementFluency in spoken and written EnglishItalian language skills are advantageousWorkplace: Benevento (IT).
Candidates must be available for national and international business trips.We value previous experience with ESA projects and ECSS standards.Leader in design, development, qualification, testing and delivery of complex mechanical systems for space applications.
