Job title Mechanical Engineer - Space & Defence Job description The role will involve CAD design activities and structural analysis applied to electro-optical/opto-mechanical systems for military and space applications. Specifically, the activities include:

Finite Element Modeling of optical and mechanical systems (metallic materials, optical elements, adhesives, composite materials) CAD design Finite element analysis (static, dynamic, thermoelastic) Preparation and supervision of dynamic tests (electromagnetic shaker, shock, acoustic) Profile The ideal candidate has a degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Astronautical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education and at least 6 months of experience in the role, even if only at an academic level. Good problem-solving and teamwork skills are required, as well as autonomy in organizing assigned tasks and a results-oriented approach. Mobility within national and international environments and excellent knowledge of English are also required.
