Clivet SpA, part of Midea Group, is now looking for its new Mechanical Engineer. About the job: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team.
You will play a crucial role in the design, development, and analysis of mechanical components and systems for our innovative HVAC products.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and performance specifications while adhering to industry regulations.
Your main tasks will be: Use UG (Unigraphics) or SolidEdge software to design and optimize the structure of heat pump electrical control boxes.Coordinate with Midea's headquarters' pilot workshop, production workshop, quality department, and Chinese suppliers to ensure manufacturability and quality control of the design solutions.Participate in product structure reviews, propose improvements, and optimize designs to enhance production efficiency and product reliability.Prepare and archive design drawings, ensuring that product designs meet company and customer technical requirements and standards.Collaborate with the production process to ensure smooth integration with structural design, supporting the entire process from design to mass production.Assist in structural testing, performance testing, and product prototyping as needed.Participate in design changes and improvement projects, ensuring continuous design optimization.A possible picture of the candidate is: Bachelor's degree or above in Structural Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field.Proficient in using UG or SolidEdge software for structural design.Solid theoretical foundation in structural design; experience in electrical control box design is a plus.Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with different departments, especially in liaising with headquarters and suppliers in China, hence proficiency in Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing) is required.Team player with a strong sense of responsibility, capable of working under pressure.Strong innovation mindset with the ability to propose practical design optimization solutions.Interest or internship experience in the design of heat pump electrical control boxes is a plus.
