Mechanical Engineer

Definition of technical specifications starting from the project requirements.
Design and simulation (kineto-dynamic, FEM) with SolidWorks software.
Supervision of the creation of prototypes and choice of the appropriate production technology.
Analysis of experimental data.
Collaboration in an interdisciplinary working group (optics, mechanics, electronics, and software).
Technical exchange with the Japanese RD office.
Drafting of the technical project documentation in compliance with the reference standards.
Management of relationships with suppliers.
Risk assessment related to the use of an ophthalmic device according to ISO 15004-1.
Research, experimentation, and evaluation of new technologies.
At least three years of experience in the role, even if carried out in a field other than that of ophthalmic systems.
Attitude for teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Experience using CAD software (preferably SolidWorks).
Good analytical skills and awareness of problems related to experimental measurement.
Evaluation and choice of processes based on design requirements and constraints.
Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken (B2 level).
OPTIONAL SKILLS Professional experience in the integration of opto-electro-mechanical systems.
Professional experience in the biomedical field.
Professional experience in static and dynamic simulations.
Familiarity with rapid prototyping systems.
Basic skills in programming and data analysis (e.g.
Python, MATLAB).
