We are looking for a mechanical engineer who will be responsible for the design of mechanical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance, as well as identifying improvement opportunities, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing costs. They must have knowledge of mechanical equipment and provide technical support to operations and maintenance departments. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of support equipment and safety protocols, staying up to date on the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
ResponsibilitiesDesign mechanical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance.Ensure that projects comply with all applicable standards, codes, and regulations.Periodically review the status of infrastructure/equipment.Provide standards and specifications for engineering and design development for the construction and installation of new infrastructure.Define and draft procedures for testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.Coordinate and effectively communicate with various stakeholders - Operations, Maintenance, Design, Construction, Purchasing, and Production - to achieve objectives.Conduct timely review of design packages and provide documented comments and feedback as needed.Analyze projects to identify improvement actions that ensure higher performance, efficiency gains, reduced maintenance interventions, and cost savings.Support Maintenance in problem analysis.Provide technical support to the Procurement function for supplier selection and qualification, and potentially support in negotiation phase.Conduct risk and failure analysis in order to eliminate and/or mitigate them.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.At least 3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in the semiconductor industry.Ability to prioritize and plan related work activities.Excellent organizational skills and results-oriented.Excellent communication skills and good teamwork abilities.Good knowledge of the English language.Good knowledge of the Office suite and design software.We encourage candidates who may not meet every single requirement to apply, as we appreciate diverse perspectives and provide opportunities for growth and learning.
