Dainese, a global company leader in protective equipment and garments for motorcycling and dynamic sports, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for our Helmets Research & Development Department.
With the team, he/she will be responsible for the design and engineering of the helmets, product improvement activities and support for the transfer of projects into production.
This is the opportunity to become part of a stimulating and innovative environment.WHAT WE EXPECT YOU TO DO:Technical verification and development of new models and related prototypes of the helmet and protection lines.3D design and development of the components of new models of helmets and protections.Creation of 2D technical drawings.Interface with the Research areas, to deepen the quality aspects of raw materials and semi-finished products.Interface with the Supply Chain for the development of prototypes and samples at internal and external production centers.Management of technical data sheets, compliance verification of prototypes and samples with company quality standards.Visit of suppliers, including international ones, for operational checks.Interface with production sites for pilot-run and production launch phases.WE'D LOVE TO GET TO KNOW YOU IF:You have a Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Product engineering.You have at least 5 years' work experience in structured contexts.You have an excellent knowledge of CAD Siemens NX and Office suite.You are accurate and precise, with a problem-solving attitude and a result-oriented approach.You have strong capability analysis and you are able to define the dimension tolerances.You have the knowledge of thermoplastic material processing and tooling.You are fluent in speaking English (B2/C1 level).You have excellent teamwork (training people capability) and communication skills.Availability for business trips is required.Motorcycle driving license "A" is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
