Furthermore, you will discuss design with purchasing, production, and service.
In this role, you report to the Team Leader of Engineered Solutions.Below is an overview of tasks and responsibilities:(concept-) design in 3D-CAD of chiller, cooler layout, and components: design can contain piping, castings, machine parts, sheet metal, etc.
(Inventor)Detailed design in 2DFirst strength analysis on designs if experienced in it (FEA)Follow-up of the design in the different phasesDelegate repetitive and standard design to an internal design studio (Gecia)Set-up of instructions and technical specifications (applying standards and legislations ISO, CE, PED, ASME, etc.
)Follow-up of the design in production when neededSupport other departments (service, production, purchasing) with technical informationCreate and keep technical information updated (drawings, bill-of-material, purchase specifications, and technical agreements)Final release of drawings, BOMs, documentation, and instructions for production in the PLM system (ENOVIA and BPCS)After gaining knowledge in the products, you will cooperate with colleagues from production and service to solve problems related to the technical specification.Experience requirementsExperience in a design and development environment is a plus.
Experience with chiller technology is a plus.
Experience as a designer is a plus.
Strong interest in concept design.KnowledgeFluent in Italian and good command of English.
A good general technical knowledge.
Knowledge and interest in 2D and 3D CAD like AutoCAD and Inventor.
