RINA is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design FEM Analyst to join its office in Rome within the Materials & Technologies Division.
Mission RINA is looking for a Mechanical Design FEM Analyst to expand our Industry team based in ROME (Italy).
Key Accountabilities Develop structural analysis models (static, dynamic, linear, non-linear) based on CAD models provided by the client, including constraints and boundary conditions supplied by the client. Update models in response to design changes. Conduct required analyses using the models. Perform post-processing of analysis results. Participate in scheduled meetings with the project team to review numerical analysis results and guide item design based on the achieved results. Prepare technical documentation, including images, charts, drawings, presentations, and other materials identified during work meetings. Develop, update, and handle pre- and post-processing of multibody models using MSC Adams, based on CAD models and loading conditions provided by the client. Develop, update, and handle pre- and post-processing of fatigue analysis models using MSC CAEFatigue, based on CAD models and loading conditions provided by the client. Participate in the preparation of working sessions with national and international teams. Organize progress meetings. Produce reports related to the activities carried out. Qualifications Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering. Advanced skills in performing independent simulations on complex mechanical assemblies with homogeneous isotropic and anisotropic composite materials. Experience in mechanical design or thermal-structural analysis and simulations to verify or design mechanical structures. High proficiency in MSC Software, particularly with the following codes: Patran Nastran Marc Adams Apex Experience with multibody analysis using Adams is a plus. Experience with fatigue analysis using CAEFatigue is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office suite. Excellent problem-solving skills. Fluent in spoken and written English. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Demonstrated capability to perform effectively under pressure. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
