**MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEERING EXPERT - OIL & GAS AUXILIARY SYSTEMS**

**Role overview**
The selected resource - acting as a technical leader within a team aimed to give engineering support in a complex, structured environment with high pitched technological standards - will be responsible for leading the project execution of turbomachinery auxiliary systems, which includes understanding the project scope of work, preparing all the related design documentation, purchase specifications, 3D models, drawings, and supervising all the necessary duties for assuring that the scope of work is delivered within the agreed timeline.
Technical responsibilities of the role will include:
- understanding customer specifications and project requirements in detail, for the design of various Mechanical Auxiliaries;
- supervising the creation and review of basic engineering drawings of various Mechanical Auxiliaries items, foundation drawings, and managing 3D models;
- defining piping line specifications;
- designing / sizing of lube oil tanks and defining lube oil system components like pumps, LV motors, filters, accumulators, tanks, pressure control valves;
- designing skid packages including package piping & support designs, locking assemblies, etc;
- implementing the plant 3D model of the project;
- supervising the correct creation and management of all project documentation according to Customer standards;
- training and mentoring junior resources within the Packaging team.
**Required Skills/Knowledge**
- BE/BTech in Mechanical/ Production / Industrial Engineering;
- at least 8+ years experience related to design of auxiliary systems, piping & supports for O&G projects;
- solid knowledge of industry related codes and standards (ASME, API etc);
- knowledge of CAD Siemens NX advantageous but not mandatory;
- confident in reading and understanding engineering documents like P & ID, technical data sheets, etc
