Our team is responsible for the design of flange to flange of valves and centrifugal pumps, scout innovative technologies and originate opportunities to expand our portfolio, manage programs for technology development, and integration with other components, testing and installation support for our customers.
In a dynamic and fast-growing environment, you will be responsible for conducting autonomously the execution of flange to flange design and all related technical reviews, supporting all the functions within the plant.
Partner with the best You will be executing the design, analysis, and/or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
This position would include mechanical and/or electrical engineering for all products.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for: Interpret customer specifications and identify equipment required to satisfy specifications.
Ensure that equipment is designed in accordance with current HSE legislation.
Undertake design verification, which may include but not limited to: risk analysis, failure analysis, Design Reviews, Design Calculations.
Check and approve layout and detail drawings.
Review/disposition survey reports.
Establish repair practices and engineering repair workscopes.
Adhere to and meet Engineering work schedules.
To be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with some years of experience in Engineering/Technology).
Have strong oral and written communication skills, with professional proficiency in English.
Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills and be able to work independently.
