Company Description: Provides tailored assembly, testing, commissioning, on-site installation, and integrated logistics services for all market segments in which it operates: New Builds, Fusion, Plant Operation Assistance, Decommissioning, and Waste Management.
Position: Support the engineering design activities mainly referring to pressure-retaining components for nuclear applications.
Design/sizing of bespoke components including the identification of the "fit for purpose" solutions, from conceptual/basic to detailed design.
Main Responsibilities: Ensure the execution of design activities.
Draft the technical specs, mechanical stress analysis calculation, modelling, and drawings.
Ensure the technical evaluation of the Supplier's offers and technical follow-up of the supplies.
Follow up the manufacturing up to the factory acceptance tests.
Support the on-site installation and testing activities for mechanical components.
Coordinate mono-disciplinary working groups.
Requirements: Master or equivalent Degree in Mechanical/Nuclear Engineering or equivalent.
5 years' experience in mechanical components design.
Skilled in the design of mechanical components.
Knowledge of the sizing/calculation of mechanical components including 3D modelling and BIM methodology integration.
Knowledge of the construction/manufacturing norms and standards (i.e., ASME, EN13445, etc.)
and EU Directives (e.g., Machine Directive, PED).
Advanced in Finite Element Modelling software (e.g., Ansys or similar structural analysis software).
Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
Capability to take initiative, with a proactive attitude and personal drive.
Relationship oriented.
Fluent in English (spoken and written, fluent).
Willingness to travel.
