Partner with the best We are seeking an experienced people leader to join our Technology Testing Laboratory to take responsibility for leading and managing the Measurement System team.

As part of the Technology Testing Laboratory, your primary focus will be the validation campaigns of the New Product / Technology Development across IET business units, related to the core turbomachinery as well as the new Climate Technology Solutions. The Measurement System Leader is accountable for the Sensors Technology Development (NTD) and responsible for special instrumentations selection, measurement chain and data acquisition platform design, electrical, DCS design for new test benches, partnering with other TTL functions and all the other IET organizations. As a people leader, you will be responsible for supervising, managing, and motivating team members daily, acting proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration engaging the team to achieve goals.

Contribute to Innovation Engineering strategy deployment initiatives, optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Embrace the Cultural Transformation, inspiring the team through the Cultural Behaviors. Provide supervision and leadership to the team, assisting with problem-solving and decision-making as needed. Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to team members, engineers, and scientists, to help them grow and develop in their careers. Allocate resources effectively to ensure the successful completion of projects while balancing workload and priorities. Identify training needs and opportunities for skill development among team members, and support their professional growth through training programs, mentorship, and coaching. Ensure the optimal application of technology and engineering resources. Optimize and simplify the internal standard solutions promoting digital design tools adoption and development. Drive the LRP (Long Range Plan) for the Sensors Technology, assuring its execution on time and on budget, directly guiding the Sensors Laboratory and leveraging on the other BH research organizations, Universities, and international institutions. Ensure project (NTD, NPD) execution, meeting Operating plan targets (NTD OTDs, P&E execution, BT budget, Yield%, …). To be successful in this role you should have: Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field. At least 5 years of experience as a People leader in engineering functions. Be familiar with electrical, instrumentation, control system design, and digital technologies. Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the aptitude to influence others and create collaborative and inclusive teams in a diverse and multi-cultural environment. Strong analytical, process improvement, and project management skills. Knowledge of planning and analysis tools for project management. Cross-functional teamwork with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Demonstrate effective decision-making, organizational, and time management skills. Have good verbal and written skills, be fluent both in English and Italian, and hold an EU Work Permit.
