Applicants must have experience teaching both IB MYP and DP.The successful applicant will be a dynamic teacher with experience enabling pupils to achieve their potential.

The candidate must be a team player who can work within a busy department, while also managing their own curriculum under pressure.This is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development of our secondary school and a successful, growing department, in addition to teaching in the IB Diploma Programme.
There is the possibility of a Middle Leader position for the right candidate.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Supporting a positive and strong school community through the implementation of the IS Siena Positive Behaviour Policy and the pastoral programme.Planning and delivering the curriculum for:IBDP Business Management HL/SLIBMYP Business-related coursesStandardizing internal assessments with colleagues.Supervising Extended Essays and Personal Projects as necessary.Working closely with the DP Coordinator and MYP Coordinator to ensure grade banks are accurate and provide key data to drive student success.Possibly acting as a homeroom tutor.Contributing to school development through active participation in staff professional development.Offering an Extra Curricular activity that supports or extends the current portfolio of offerings.THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:A university degree in a related Business subject and an appropriate teaching qualification.Recent experience successfully teaching Business Management within the 11-19 age range.Enthusiasm and passion for teaching Business, with the ability to convey this successfully to students of all abilities.Understanding of CAT4 and data tracking to improve challenge and progress desirable.Experience with external and internal IB assessments and the Extended Essay essential.A firm understanding of the importance of personalised learning in an inclusive environment.A willingness to commit to a longer-term position.
