Partner with the best Responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business.
Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules.
Work with the sales and commercial team, Regions, Procurement & Supply Chain to translate the sales demand (forecasts, sales orders, planned orders) into physical orders and ensure they are delivered to meet customer requirements.
Suggest improvements in products, processes, and procedures.
Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities As a Materials Specialist - Materials Planning and Execution, you will be responsible for: Managing master planning, material processes and systems, preparing and updating production schedules and purchasing needs.
Ensuring operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.
Optimizing inventory and process improvements.
Exchanging data and information with supporting functions like sales, engineering and maintenance.
Handling simple manufacturing processes with detailed guidelines for producing goods.
Leading a small manufacturing unit with a budget > $1.5K.
Required Qualifications Have a degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with experience in Manufacturing).
Have previous experience in Planning.
Have previous experience in Supplier Management.
Be familiar with working with KPIs.
Communicate effectively in English (written and oral).
Have good interpersonal skills.
Be able to work independently.
Have good problem-solving skills.
