Description Kenvue is currently recruiting for: Materials Scientist - Internship Technical lead to execute projects to secure Business, ensure compliance, reduce complexity and optimize costs of our Kenvue raw material portfolio (cosmetic and OTC) Responsible to execute double sourcing qualification and manage properly the changes (crisis, discontinuation, supplier driven changes and plant support) will occur on the current raw material portfolio up to change implementation.
Support the coordination of functions (Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing plants, Regulatory Affairs, Analytical, Microbiology, Quality, etc.)
and assures project follow-up.
This position reports into R&D Materials Senior Manager and is based at Pomezia - Santa Palomba (Rome).

What You Will Do The Materials Scientist Intern will support in: ü Provide technical support, evaluating impact of changes related to the current raw material portfolio ü Work with other global leads and functions to manage Global Change Controls for multiple raw materials ü Develop Global Change Control Plans and Deliverables and own Execution of the GCC ü Prepare lab batches of semi-solid and liquid products to assess equivalency ü Coordinate other business functions to evaluate the impact of the changes ü Coordinate and interact with various internal departments such as, Procurement, Analytical, IM/EM sites, QA, PD, Regulatory, Toxicology, Claims and Suppliers ü lab data statistical analysis and reporting (Minitab) for raw materials ü Prepare Technical Justifications ü Support manufacturing investigations and provide general technical service to guarantee business continuity ü Seek guidance from other team members and direct Manager as needed ü Manage project timelines What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications ü Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or related field is preferred ü Ability to work independently ü Fluent English ü Good communication and presentation skills ü Ability in term of Problem-solving, Complexity management and Decision-making authority ü Ability to collaborate with different areas (global cross functional teams, suppliers) ü Strong passion for science, technology, innovation and problem solving What's In It For You • Competitive Benefit Package • Learning & Development Opportunities • Employee Resource Groups Kenvue is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
