The Materials Science & Technology team provides cutting-edge materials and processes solutions to support turbomachinery product competitiveness to deliver the highest reliable, efficiency and clean performances.
Clear thinking, knowledge of Quality and HSE processes, and ability to deliver tasks are required skills.
As Materials Lab Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Execution of examinations/investigations according to standard procedures, make observations and comparison to stands requirements.
- Storage and preservation of test samples;
- Maintaining equipment and assisting in ordering laboratory supplies
- Daily check on lab equipment and Identification of out of order equipment;
- Ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment
**Fuel your passion**
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a secondary school diploma and proven knowledge in Chemistry or related topics.
- +10yr of Experience in laboratory testing
- technical expertise in testing methodologies in the field of material characterization
- ability to operate laboratory equipment such as potentiostat, FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, microscopes, mechanical testing machines and lab furnaces.
- Have knowledge of International Quality standards (i.e ASTM, ISO)
- Have good communication and written skills in English
- Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to solve problems and provide solutions
- Exhibit the highest standards of ethical conduct and responsibility for fully understanding and complying with company policies.
