Materials Buyer

The Materials Buyer is responsible of the purchasing activities of assigned Purchase Requisitions in compliance with Corporate and Project Procedures and under the supervision of the Purchasing Group Leader.
Key Activities & Responsibilities preparation of bidder lists;commercial tabulation of suppliers offerseconomic and contractual negotiation of orders and associated purchasing terms and conditionsissue of Purchase Orders and any revisionsupport and cooperate with the Project Procurement Manager / Coordinator during the development of the supplies in case of any commercial problem with Vendors (such as claims, change order request, Liquidated Damages discussion, etc.)Personal Attributes: diploma or degree in technical discipline (civil engineering)3/5 years experience in buying technical materials in engineering company or building equipment and systems ;design experience in engineering departments is appreciatedSAP knowledge for supplies managementfluent English speaker and writeravailability to travel in Italy and abroadFully paid up Company share capital € 19.920.679,32 - Tax Code, VAT number and Rome Company register number: 07673571001
